"Making connections and exchanges”

Many educational institutes and (smaller) businesses are looking at China as a potential market for their products and services. The market potential of China is overwhelming if looking at the numbers, but what is the reality? How easy or difficult is it to do business with China? What are the cultural differences or pitfalls you need to be aware of? How do you get insight into the market, the need for certain products or services and where do you start?
The Sedona Conference & Conversations will bring together experts from the US and China who are already doing business or organizing exchanges with China. Presenters will talk about how to do business, using their own personal & cultural experiences in doing business with China. Hands-on activities and a faculty forum will be held to put some of the basics in business into practice.
Invited are administrators, faculty and business representatives that have an interest in exploring the China market. We encourage anyone with an interest in learning more about this interesting country and economy to join us in beautiful Sedona!
In conjunction with the above theme at the 12th Sedona Conference & Conversations, we are also planning a forum discussion on the use of Digital Media in Education:
